Sligo sports complex pool is so dirty it’s such a shame. Changing room smell and are freezing. The toilets are filthy and smell of urine. AFAIK the Yeats Hotel in Rosses Point do take pay as you go? Have gone there a good bit since I decided to boycott the sports complex as it is so dirty.

I also used Sligo sports complex in Sept 2018. I was a visitor and knew as a public facility it would be a 25 metre pool which I enjoy for my Ironman training. It served all my needs it was clean had lockers showers toilets. Because it’s not spanking new and shiny it’s hard to make it gleam. I say Laura get into that lovely clean pool swim for 1 hour come out feeling fit and slim and shower and use the toilet and you’ll worry less about the shiny tiles. Fab facity on your doorstep so cheap and lovely friendly helpful staff. I’ll see you there in my lunch break to day.
