Sligo’s Top Five Food Trucks

In recent years we’ve seen a new trend in Sligo, of mobile food trucks opening up. Dotted around the county, each truck has it’s own cuisine and vibe, from South America to New Zealand. Here are our picks for Sligo’s top five food trucks!

Fire Dough Strandhill

New to Strandhill this summer, Fire Dough Strandhill has opened with an offering of authentic delicious wood-fired sour-dough pizzas. And they really are good! Their most popular or their signature pizza is the Black Goat smothered with goats cheese, black pudding, pesto and caramelised onions. We’re drooling writing this. Based in the new food court behind The Strand pub, Firedough opens Thursday to Sunday 1pm-8pm. These times are correct at time of publishing. See more here
