Sligo Stream Festival

With another lockdown in place and live music hard to come by, Sligo’s No.1 Musical Ambassador, John ‘The Map’ Callanan, has saved the day and put together an amazing line up of online gigs over the Bank Holiday Weekend.Johns’ efforts with his site www.sligomusicians.com are the epitome of the volunteer spirit. He has compiled gig listings for all Sligo musicians and venues, for free, for years.

The Sligo Stream Festival will take place on Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th October with some of Sligo’s finest musicians streaming LIVE to various pubs Facebook pages. All gigs are sponsored by and in aid of The Neurology Support Centre, which is a Sligo charity supporting those with neurological illnesses and their loved ones. Further sponsorship is from The White Hag Brewery who have kindly provided beer for all the musicians (keeping the spirit of the Seisiun alive).
