Sligo Florists Are Bringing Colour and Joy to our Homes
With winter and lockdown hitting at the same time, we could all do with a little bit of brightness and a pop of colour in our lives right now! There is nothing nicer than receiving a bunch of flowers from a friend or loved one, for a special occasion or just because. The little pleasures we can all afford ourselves right now are invaluable. We’re all spreading the Sligo Love. We had a chat with some Sligo Florists to see what they are up to of late. It’s coming up to busy season for florists – Valentine’s and Mother’s Day are approaching so we wanted to show Sligo’s beautiful floral offerings to you all.

Being members of Interflora allows them to send orders overseas, so you can send a bunch of flowers to a missed loved one who is further afield. They also stock candles, diffusers, chocolates, teddys, balloons, and house plants along with bouquets.
Shells Cafe
Shells Cafe is not traditionally a florist but when Valentine’s, Mother’s Day or any other special calendar day rolls around, they usually will have sourced some beautiful flowers for the Strandhill crew. This Valentines they are pairing a beautiful floral stem with a John Ryan Ceramics mug. It’s worth checking out their instagram from time to time as they will have Flower Friday on.
There is also Balliosadare Fuels and Garden Centre to consider and Cannings Spar.
So, we’re obviously very spoilt with choice for florists, whether you are looking for something organic and wild or stylish and chic. Sligo is horticulturally brilliant! It’s been a pleasure collating this blog, the colour and fun has been just what we need right now. We hope you feel the same!
