Culture Night Sligo

Taking place throughout Ireland on Friday 23rd September, Culture Night is a celebration of Irish Arts, Food, Music and much more. Sligo has a great variety of entertainment for the day from trad music at the abbey, Irish storytelling, open studio’s and a family friendly arts event by Arty Party. See the whole line up here. Sligo Feis

Dedicated to Sligo’s Noble six and the 100th anniversary of the execution of the men atop Benbulben – the programme for this event includes a Wreath Laying Ceremony, Traditional Irish Music, an exhibition of Memorabilia and Irish Dancing. See the times and locations below.

SLIGO FEIS COMMEMORTATION

Sligo Live

Tickets are selling out fast for this October Festival. Pulling in big names all across the entertainment industry Sligo Live is always a hit. Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin is on the line-up, currently sold out but you can join a waiting list. See the line-up and buy tickets here.

Spilt Milk

Spilt Milk have just announced their festival 2022 dates as 18 – 20 Nov. One of our favourite Sligo Festivals as the acts are always uber cool and super interesting. This year the festival have partnered with The Model, so all events will be held in one place. Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements!

Sligo Baroque Music Festival

Sligo Baroque Music Festival began life in 1995, founded by Rod Alston with the Sligo Early Music Ensemble. It has become a well-established highlight in the cultural calendar of Sligo and the north-west of Ireland, taking place on the last weekend of September each year. The events are held all around Sligo over the weekend, some require booking while others do not. Find out more here
