Short Term Volunteering Roles

If you would like to volunteer but can’t commit to anything long term these opportunities would be ideal for you. Even if you just one spare hour this Summer you could be helping raise funds for some great organisations.

NORTH WEST HOSPICE:

North West Hospice Sligo are holding their annual Sunflower Days this year on the 7th,8th and 9th June.

They are looking for Volunteers for Sligo, Leitrim and South Donegal particularly in the Ballyshannon area. Even if you only have an hour to spare they would really appreciate the help with selling sunflowers! https://bit.ly/2rZF7ZM

DIABETES IRELAND- SLIGO BRANCH:

Diabetes Sligo is looking for volunteers to sell flags at various points throughout Sligo Town on Saturday 16th June. Collectors will be asked for 1-2 hours of their time between 11a.m. and 4p.m. They would be grateful for any time you can give. https://bit.ly/2rZF7ZM

IRISH WHEELCHAIR ASSOCIATION:

On Friday the 6th and 7th July Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) will be Fundraising in Tesco Stores across the country with a bumper bag pack. This is a great opportunity for IWA to raise funds fundamental to the services we provide. We are asking for people to give a few hours of their time bag packing in a Tesco near them, simple as that.
