President Michael D. Higgins to visit Sligo

I don’t think there’s an inch of Ballisodare that hasn’t been painted ahead of President Michael D. Higgins visit to Sligo tomorrow.

The president will be in Manorhamilton, Leitrim in the morning followed by a visit to the Mercy College, Sligo at 2.30pm and finally a visit to Ballisodare to Martin Savage Bridge naming ceremony at 4pm.

The village of Ballisodare will be closed to traffic from 4.00pm until 4.30pm approximately so traffic will be diverted to the N4.
