Parenting Groups

There are lots of different groups in Sligo that might be of interest to parents of babies and toddlers, more will added as soon as we hear of them:

Monday
Tubbercurry Family Resource Centre parent and toddler group, every Monday at 10.30am
The Avalon Centre, Sligo Town 10.30am
Tots and Co. at The Lissadell Centre, North Sligo 10.30am

Tuesday
Easkey Parent and Toddler Group, Old Court House  10am – 12 noon
Sligo Family Resource Centre, The Mall Sligo. Parent and Toddler group (from Jan. 15th) 10.30 – 11.30am.

Wednesday
The Avalon Centre, Sligo Town 10.30am
Geevagh Baby and Toddler Group.  Open to childminders, grandparents and other guardians. Every Wednesday morning 9.30 till 11.30 Cost: €2

Strandhill Parent and Toddler Group. Wednesday 10.30-12 during school term time. Strand Celtic FC

Little Diamonds is on every Wednesday morning from 10-12 at Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone.

Thursday
The Methodist Church, Wine Street, Sligo 10.30am
The Den, Rosses Point 10:30-12:00

Friday

Templeboy Parent and Toddler Group  meet every Friday during term time in the Old School House next to Templeboy Church on the n59 at 10am.

Varying dates

Babywearing Ireland Sligo Sling Meet and Library – dates vary but usually the first Tuesday of the month so check out the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SligoSlingers/

La Leche League Sligo. Meet ups vary so check the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/LeLecheLeagueSligo/

Collooney Breastfeeding Group meet on the 1st wed of the month in Funny Bones Play Centre from 10.30 to 12.30. And on the 3rd wed of the month in Collooney Health Centre. Dates vary so check the Facebook Group.
