INDIAN return

Joseph Hunt - Lead singer of Indian

Sligo band INDIAN are returning to the Hawks Well Theatre on the 23rd November, 2018.

The band have been together since 1993 and have released four studio albums to date. To coincide with the concert they have decided to release a double A-sided single which will be officially launched on the night. Spending 26 years writing and recording songs they decided to re-record the first song they ever wrote, White Diamond, but this time with a twist.

Anyone who has witnessed an INDIAN gig in the Hawks Well will know that they feature guest singers and musicians. In keeping with this tradition they have invited Sligo singer Sarah Crummy to guest on this recording along with Sligo guitarist Shane Boyce which was released on iTunes on Oct 1st, also a short film produced by London based film company Hatch Pictures directed and starring Simone Kirby has been launched on social media.

The second song on the record will be a new song titled Balloon In A Net which will be a traditional INDIAN song. The songs were recorded in Stopies Attic Spiddal Galway, TWS Cliffoney Sligo and Blue Room
Recording Studios Grange Sligo, engineered and mixed by Luke Devaney. The single will be released on Sligo label Sound Records.

INDIAN are looking forward to their gig at the Hawks Well. The band will be accompanied as always by the Pink Butterflies and Colin O Donnell. Also joining them for the night will be Jessie Solange Whitehead, Marie O Byrne and Graeme Burke. Special guests as always on the night.

You can book your ticket over on the Hawk’s Well Theatre website.
