Easkey Scarecrow Festival runs from October 26th to November 9th.
Saturday 26th October
Beltra Country Market. Fancy dress competition for all ages and bring your carved pumpkin. 10am – 12 noon.
Rathcormac Artisan Food and Craft Market. Halloween fancy dress, face painting, surprises and more. 10am – 3pm
Paula Lambert Puppet Theatre bring Bosco’s Garden Storyand Sleeping Beauty to Sligo Live Festival in the Hawk’s Well Theatre on Saturday 26th October at 1pm.

Sligo Dark Tales Halloween Tour. Hear some dark and ghostly stories on the Sligo Dark Tales special Halloween walking tour. 7 pm to 9 pm.
Sunday 27th October
Strandhill People’s Market ‘Trick or Treat’ for Temple Street Children’s Hospital Foundation. Get your little monsters dressed up for a great cause and join us from 12.30 in the haunted hangar.

Spooky Hallowe’en Yoga for Kids! Yoga & Art Camp in Coolaney Community Centre. 10am – 1pm

Thursday 31st October
Samhain at Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery. A talk will be given by Dr. Robert Hensey on the topic of ‘Sacred Journeys in the Neolithic’ at 8.00 am. Tea and buns will be served by Ransboro Development Association. 7.15am – 10am.
Spooky Stories and Thrilling Tales. Sligo Central Library. Lots of fun for everyone! Suitable for age 4-7 11.30am – 12.00 noon.
Halloween Spooktacular at Dromore West Community Centre. Suitable for toddlers – primary school children. 2 -4pm.
Waterpoint, Enniscrone. Kid’s Halloween disco 3 – 5pm-€6 per child.
Friday 1st November
The Spooky Tales of Captain Underpants Hack-A-Ween. Free movie screening at Ballymote Community Library 4 – 9 year olds. Call 0719111669 to book.
