Sligo, Mindfulness with the body, the steps and the breath”

You are warmly invited to join us for our day of mindfulness on the theme of “back to the basic, being with the body and the breath”
There will be a selection of Plum Village mindfulness practices offered over the day, with guided meditation, self guided silent meditation, walking meditation and deep relaxation. The day will be an opportunity to deepen our practice of coming home to ourselves and being at home with care for our joys and our pains.
The day is very suitable for absolute beginners and for those with experience.
Like Plum Village, our days are not silent, we build in some silences and if you like more silence (as empowered practitioners) one can arrive at 10 or 10:30 and skip the coffee in house and after lunch there will be the opportunity to walk the gardens or sit in meditation room after you finish eating.
The most enjoyable silence may be the silence of our own mind just being present with care and kindness, letting go of judgements, expectations and ideas, taking care of ourselves moment to moment
