Dawn is walking the Camino de Santiago, a few weeks after the Repeal referendum. What could be better after a gruelling couple of months of canvassing, than a nice long walk in the countryside? All the way to Finisterre, to the ‘end of the earth’ … except that the end of the earth seems to be coming towards her, and at rapid pace. This play is for anyone who has ever had to ask for their rights, and do so politely.
Compostela is a tragicomic solo show that uses physical theatre and magical realism to explore burnout, rage, and disconnection.
