County Sligo Playgrounds

If you are looking for a place for the children to play why not check out one of the many playgrounds in County Sligo.

Sligo Town

Forthill Playground. Just up from the Healthwise Pharmacy heading to the Northside Centre.

Sligo Family Resource Centre have a playground that’s suitable for 0-6 years. It’s located at the back of their building on The Mall in Sligo town and is open weekdays when their centre is open.

Doorly Park has a playground for the kids (although we are told it’s better for older children). There is also an outdoor gym for the adults and one for children as well. It’s located very close to the town, in fact it’s just across the road from the Cleveragh Retail Park. There is also a large open green and a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), which is an all weather sports facility with a synthetic surface that can accommodate a wide variety of sports and games through the use of multi-functional goals and nets. Soccer, basketball, netball, tennis, hurling and volleyball are among a wide range of games that can be played on a MUGA.

Mitchell Curley Park is located in Ballydoogan, Sligo and has a soccer and GAA pitch. It also has an outdoor fitness area, playground and MUGA.

There is a playground in Cranmore.

Seaview Park off the Strandhill Road has a soccer pitch, a playground and an MUGA.
