Christmas Markets in Sligo

Sligo is a great place for markets and this Christmas there are even more of them. Here are the ones we’ve noticed.

Sligo Christmas Market

takes place at The Quayside, Sligo. Every day from 29th November – 24th December. Mon. – Sat. 10am – 6pm, Sundays 11am – 6pm. Foods and festive treats are served alongside quality gifts and produce from local artisan food and craft producers. Magical elf shows take place every weekend at the market and Santa will be there every weekend from December 6th.
The Annual

Christmas Bazaar in Ballymote

Sunday 1st Dec from 3pm in Loftus Hall. A great family afternoon out, with children’s games , bric-a-brac stalls, and much more. Santa will be calling in to say hello and it’s all in aid of North West Hospice.

St Mary’s College Ballisodare Christmas Fayre

December 6th from 6:30 to 9pm. Family event with a magical movie, Elf school, Christmas carols, face painting and of  market stalls, with a visit from the man in red

Beltra Country Market Christmas Fair

December 7th from 10am – 2pm. There’s all the usual, locally produced, foods and crafts plus Santa arrives at 12.30pm. There’s also Christmas music from the local choir.

Rathcormac Artisan Food and Craft Market

Every Saturday from 10am – 3pm. They also have a Christmas night market on the 19th of December from 3pm – 8pm. You can expect beautiful crafts, gifts and food. There’s also Christmas Carols, face painting, mulled wine and a visit from Santa.

Strandhill People’s Market

Every Sunday from 11am – 4pm. There are also two night markets on Friday 13th and the 20th from 4-8pm. 50 stalls from all over the country are trading on each date. Come hungry as the food stalls serve a mix of award winning Indian cuisine, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Sushi, Mediterranean and more. Craft and art stalls focus on hand made products ranging from candles, beauty products, clothing, jewellery, ceramics, toys and way more.

Sligo Community Craft & Food Market

Friday December 13th at 11am until 4pm in the Methodist Hall Wine Street . You can expect handmade crafts, candles, knits, jewellery, soaps & beauty care, wooden plaques & handcrafts, felt crafts & decorations, hand-sketched cards & prints. Homemade Takeaway Food & Teas and Coffees served.

Christmas Parish Bazaar, Skreen Dromard Community Centre.

1st December 1pm. There’s a magic show and Santa arriving also a craft sale, auction and more.

Cartron Christmas Fair

December 8th at The Village Inn Cartron, 11.00am to 16 .30pm. There will be home bargains, bespoke head pieces and even a chance to get your nails done.

Easkey Christmas Market

7th December is a Christmas Tree Festival from 3pm – 6pm and the Market is on 8th December from 12 PM – 5 PM. Admission is €2 with the donations going to Meals on Wheels.

Collooney Christmas Market

December 15th from 11 AM – 4 PM. in the Teeling Centre

Christmas Market at The Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone

15th December from 10 am – 5pm. Santa’s travelling workshop will be there so you can make a gift, toy or ornament.
