Bleeperbikes Sligo
Bleeperbikes have arrived in Sligo. This is Ireland’s first bike sharing scheme, bikes are located around the town, you download the app – scan the code on the bike and cycle away. It’s a really handy way to get around the town or even cycle from Sligo town to Strandhill.
There are three different options; pay as you go with rides for 80 cent, or memberships starting from €20 for three months or €75 for the year. You can find out all the information on their website: http://bleeperbike.com
I will have to try this when I’m there 🙂
Someone knows why did they take them from Sligo ?.
There’s a new venture coming called Bike Link. At the moment their are two bikes at Sligo Hospital and there are more planned.
Looks to be a lot more expensive than the Bleeperbikes, unfortunately!
